يتعرض أطفال شمال شرق سوريا لانتهاكات جسيمة تتفاقم دون رادع، وسط صمت المجتمع الدولي المذهل.
فقد وثقت شبكة “رصد سوريا لحقوق الإنسان” حكماً صادراً عن محكمة تابعة لقوات سوريا الديمقراطية (قسد) في مدينة الحسكة يقضي بسجن طفل يبلغ من العمر 11 عاماً لمدة 3 سنوات بتهمة “شتم قياديين في قسد”.
وبحسب الشبكة، فإنّ الطفل المعتقل منذ شهر نيسان/أبريل الماضي هو ابن شقيق قائد “مجلس دير الزور العسكري” السابق أحمد الخبيل، المعتقل أيضاً لدى قسد.
ولم تقتصر معاناة أطفال المنطقة على الأحكام القاسية فحسب، بل تتواصل عمليات تجنيدهم الإجباري من قبل قسد دون أي مساءلة.
وتثير هذه الانتهاكات موجة من الاستياء الشعبي والحقوقي والأهلي، حيث طالب العديد من الناشطين والمنظمات بتدخل المجتمع الدولي، وخاصةً التحالف الدولي الذي يسيطر على المنطقة، لوضع حدّ لهذه الممارسات اللاإنسانية.
ويُطالب أهالي المنطقة ب:
- محاسبة قسد على جرائمها بحق الأطفال.
- إطلاق سراح جميع الأطفال المعتقلين.
- وقف عمليات التجنيد الإجباري للأطفال.
- ضمان حماية حقوق الأطفال وفقاً للقانون الدولي.
إنّ صمت المجتمع الدولي إزاء هذه الانتهاكات يمثل تواطؤاً مفضوحاً مع قسد، ويُشجعها على الاستمرار في ممارساتها القمعية بحق الأطفال.
وعليه، يتوجب على المجتمع الدولي:
- الضغط على قسد لوقف انتهاكاتها بحق الأطفال.
- المطالبة بإطلاق سراح جميع الأطفال المعتقلين.
- دعم المنظمات التي تعمل على حماية حقوق الأطفال في شمال شرق سوريا.
- ضمان المساءلة عن جميع الجرائم المرتكبة ضد الأطفال.
إنّ مستقبل أطفال شمال شرق سوريا مرهون بإنهاء هذه الانتهاكات المروعة وتحقيق العدالة لهم.

Children in northeast Syria are subjected to serious violations that are worsening without deterrent, amidst the stunning silence of the international community.
The “Syria Network for Human Rights” has documented a verdict issued by a court affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the city of Hasakah, sentencing an 11-year-old child to 3 years in prison on charges of “insulting SDF leaders.”
According to the network, the detained child, who has been held since last April, is the nephew of the former commander of the “Deir Ezzor Military Council” Ahmed al-Khabil, who is also detained by the SDF.
The suffering of the children of the region was not limited to harsh sentences, but forced recruitment operations by the SDF continue without any accountability.
These violations are sparking a wave of popular, human rights, and civil resentment, as many activists and organizations have called for the intervention of the international community, especially the international coalition that controls the region, to put an end to these inhuman practices.
The people of the region demand:
* Holding the SDF accountable for its crimes against children.
* Release of all detained children.
* End the forced recruitment of children.
* Ensuring the protection of children’s rights according to international law.
The international community’s silence on these violations is a blatant complicity with the SDF and encourages it to continue its repressive practices against children.
Therefore, the international community must:
* Pressure the SDF to stop its violations against children.
* Demand the release of all detained children.
* Support organizations working to protect children’s rights in northeast Syria.
* Ensure accountability for all crimes committed against children.
The future of children in northeast Syria depends on ending these horrific violations and achieving justice for them.
