تستمر التوترات في محافظة دير الزور السورية، حيث تجدد الاشتباكات بين قوات سوريا الديمقراطية (قسد) ومقاتلي العشائر العربية، إلى جانب استمرار حملات الاعتقالات الواسعة التي تشنها قسد في المنطقة.
في أحدث التطورات، داهمت قوات قسد منزلاً في بلدة الحوايج بريف دير الزور الشرقي، واعتقلت صاحب المنزل الذي يعمل في مكتب للصرافة. جرى اقتياده إلى جهة مجهولة، دون معرفة مصيره.
ويأتي هذا الاعتقال ضمن حملة اعتقالات واسعة تشنها قوات قسد في مناطق دير الزور منذ ثلاثة أشهر، والتي طالت مئات الأشخاص، بينهم مدنيون ونشطاء ووجهاء عشائر
وتشهد المنطقة حالة من الفلتان الأمني، حيث تشهد ازدياد عمليات الاغتيال والاشتباكات بين قوات قسد ومقاتلي العشائر العربية.
وفي سياق متصل، أستهدف مجهولون أحد عناصر قسد في وسط بلدة أبو حمام شرقي دير الزور، فيما دارت اشتباكات عنيفة ليلاً بين مقاتلي العشائر وقوات قسد في بلدتي الشحيل والخوايج.
كما شهدت المنطقة قصفاً متبادلاً بين قوات قسد وقوات النظام السوري على ضفاف نهر الفرات.
أما في الريف الغربي لدير الزور، فقد قتلت قوات قسد شاباً وأصابت زوجته الحامل، الأمر الذي أدى لفقدانها جنينها. وفي الريف الشمالي، قتلت قوات قسد شاباً وحيداً ويتيماً بعد إطلاق حواجزها النار عشوائياً.
تشير التطورات الأخيرة إلى تصاعد التوترات في محافظة دير الزور، حيث تواجه قوات قسد معارضة قوية من قبل العشائر العربية.
وتأتي هذه المعارضة نتيجة لممارسات قوات قسد القمعية، والتي طالت المدنيين والنشطاء على حد سواء.
كما ترفض العشائر العربية الهيمنة الكردية على المنطقة،
وإذا استمر الوضع على ما هو عليه، فإن دير الزور مهددة بدخول مرحلة من الفوضى والعنف.
وتتطلب الأوضاع في محافظة دير الزور تدخلاً دولياً عاجلاً، من أجل إيجاد حل سياسي للصراع بين قوات قسد والعشائر العربية.
كما يجب على المجتمع الدولي الضغط على قوات قسد لوقف ممارساتها القمعية، واحترام حقوق الإنسان في المنطقة.
SDF’s Widespread Arrest Campaign in Deir ez-Zor Enters Third Month, Security Collapse Continues, Civilians Displaced, Civilians Killed

Tensions continue in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor province, as clashes between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and Arab tribal fighters resume, alongside the ongoing widespread arrest campaigns being carried out by the SDF in the area.
In the latest developments, SDF forces raided a house in the town of al-Hawaij in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, and arrested the owner of the house, who works in a currency exchange office. He was taken to an unknown destination, and his fate is unknown.
This arrest comes as part of a widespread arrest campaign that the SDF has been carrying out in Deir ez-Zor since three months ago, which has targeted hundreds of people, including civilians, activists, and tribal leaders.
The region is experiencing a state of security collapse, as it is witnessing an increase in assassinations and clashes between SDF forces and Arab tribal fighters.
In a related context, unidentified gunmen targeted one of the SDF elements in the center of the town of Abu Hamam, east of Deir ez-Zor, while fierce clashes took place overnight between tribal fighters and SDF forces in the towns of al-Shaheil and al-Hawaij.
The region also witnessed reciprocal shelling between SDF forces and Syrian regime forces on the banks of the Euphrates River.
As for the western countryside of Deir ez-Zor, SDF forces killed a young man and injured his pregnant wife, which led to her losing her fetus. In the northern countryside, SDF forces killed a young man who was an orphan after its checkpoints opened fire indiscriminately.
The latest developments indicate a rise in tensions in Deir ez-Zor province, as the SDF faces strong opposition from Arab tribes.
This opposition comes as a result of the repressive practices of the SDF, which have affected both civilians and activists alike.
The Arab tribes also reject Kurdish domination over the region.
If the situation continues as it is, Deir ez-Zor is threatened to enter a phase of chaos and violence.
