A 16-year-old child was killed by bullets from a SDF patrol in the village of Harir al-Hatem, located in the Markada district, south of Hasakah.
Local sources reported that the child, “Muhammad Farhan al-Hatem al-Shabli,” aged 14, was killed by bullets from SDF forces during a joint raid with the international coalition west of the village, which was supported by helicopters and police dogs. The raid targeted a house in search of a wanted person.
While trying to escape from his home in fear, the child was shot, as he was shot in the head in addition to being shot several times in different parts of his body from a close range.
It is worth noting that the child belongs to a simple family that works in agriculture in the village, and is not affiliated with any party.
Children of this age run away when they see patrols for fear of forced recruitment, which has become common in the region.
