that are worsening without deterrent, amidst the stunning silence of the international community.<br \/>\nThe &#8220;Syria Network for Human Rights&#8221; has documented a verdict issued by a court affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the city of Hasakah, sentencing an 11-year-old child to 3 years in prison on charges of &#8220;insulting SDF leaders.&#8221;<br \/>\nAccording to the network, the detained child, who has been held since last April, is the nephew of the former commander of the &#8220;Deir Ezzor Military Council&#8221; Ahmed al-Khabil, who is also detained by the SDF.<br \/>\nThe suffering of the children of the region was not limited to harsh sentences, but forced recruitment operations by the SDF continue without any accountability.<br \/>\nThese violations are sparking a wave of popular, human rights, and civil resentment, as many activists and organizations have called for the intervention of the international community, especially the international coalition that controls the region, to put an end to these inhuman practices.<br \/>\nThe people of the region demand:<br \/>\n* Holding the SDF accountable for its crimes against children.<br \/>\n*
